In The Shop: A 1964 Omega Speedmaster Reference 105.003, A 1958 Tudor Reference 7944, And A 1960s Zenith Super Sub Sea A3736

This week we are all about the color accents that make a watch special – whether it's on the bezel, the dial, or even the date window. 1964 Omega Speedmaster Reference 105.003

DON. Dot-Diagonal-Seventy. Straight lugs. No crown guards. No "Professional." Caliber 321. Born in 1964. These words might make little to no sense out of context, but when we're talking collectible watches, they are pretty impressive. This is among the most desired and rare of vintage Speedmasters, and we are privileged to be able to offer it in the Shop. 1958 Tudor Oyster Prince Date 34 Reference 7944

This particular Tudor makes an incredible argument for the value of vintage watches. It has all of the charm that should come along with a vintage purchase: an honest case, beautifully aged luminous material, numerals that harken to days past. But it also has the solidly built case and gorgeous dial of a modern piece. The smooth bezel, perfect proportions, and roulette date wheel, however, make such a watch absolutely timeless. 1960s Zenith Super Sub Sea Reference A3736

We've already called the Zenith Super Sub Sea a fantastic summer watch, and this example does not beg to differ. The stainless steel square case looks awesome and super funky on the wrist, while the oversized arrow minute hand stands out – in a good way. The orange handset complements the sunburst grey dial and nicely aged luminous material perfectly, and we love the compressor design. Check out more details here.
